Question about 2004 Lexus RX 330
How do i re configure the wipers to retract them below the hood when not in use
I am the owner of a 2004 ES330 and the answer by 240 CPR is totally wrong. If you look in your owners manual on how to replace the wiper blades you'll find that all need to do is push down firmly on the wiper arm and it'll snap back down where it belongs.

It's probably more trouble than it's worth, since your change will cause the wiper to cover less of the windshield once you turn them on. (since the arm will go down further, it will not go back across the windshield as far, leaving more water untouched) If you must do this, you will have to pull the wiper arms from the wiper shaft using a lost of elbow grease and at least a battery cable puller - whatever you use, make sure that you don't grab the blade too far from the shaft and bend the arm! The other thing to think about is that the wiper may have to cross over some trim below the windshield to get where you want it to go, which may wear the wiper our prematurely.
