How to diagnose sound system lost all low en 03 town car

What makes you think its the Heater Core? I just did mine in a 1995 Town car, took 7 hrs with union breaks (lol) You have to take the instrument panel away from the firewall, once that is done it takes 10 minutes to change the heater core. Does your windshield fog up? Do you see anti freeze on the passenger side floor? Do you smell anti freeze? Take the 2 hoses off the heater core, look to see if its clogged, if its clogged, put your garden hose on the inlet of the heater core and let it flush.

P.S The shops will tell you they need to e vac your AC NOT TRUE! they want to get you for another 3 hrs.

No heat

why not diagnose it and not GUE$$
why not say, if heat fan works, does it????? that is first ?
and if engine reaches and holds at 180F temp or more. does it?
it only takes 2 things to get heat.

1: hot water 180F passing through the core, (easy tests ,ask)
2: air actually flowing through the core.
just 2 things, and easy tests. ask.
getting hot air to where you want it, that is a whole other matter (dampers)

the answer is here. (basics)

2003 buick lesabre limited heater blows cool air even when at operating temp

This may also have been caused by mixing regular anti-freeze with dex cool, which causes the coolant to become like pudding and clogging the heater core. They are NOT compatible. It may need to be professionally flushed with the proper chemicals. If one hose is hot and the other is colder, the core is most likely plugged. Going through this on one now.

Weather is starting to get cold... I have a 1992 Honda Accord EX and it has recently started dying when doing normal driving. Random times of the day, parked or going 45. Car doesent lose electrical power,...

Heet will not fix a bad fuel filter. See if it is bad and replace it if it is. the fuel filter is on the passenger side engine wall at the rear of the engine compartment. It looks about the size of an oil filter with a steel band around the center that secures it to the firewall.
