Question about 1997 Ford F150 Regular Cab
This has happened intermittently, but more often lately. I turn the key and the dashboard lights come on but no starter..I turn again and nothing after several times it may turn over and start. The battery is new. It's not in gear. How do I know whether it is the ignition switch or the starter.
Have someone turn the key.... smack the starter with a hammer... if it suddenly turns over and starts... replace the starter
Please take a moment to rate this solution.. thanks
