Question about 1998 Toyota Camry
My Camry has starter problems and won't crank over. I've replaced battery and starter and it still won't crank but causes intermitten electrical system to go dead.
Ignition postion setting and results
* Lock, Car lights and alarm system work fine
* ACC, Car radio works fine
* On, this position seems to kill my cars electrical system
To get the electrical system back online I adjust the negative battery cable. If I repeat the steps above the results are the same.
I checked the battery cables and they are secured on battery post.
This is a Direct Fault Caused by the Alarm System Starter Kill. Do you have an Alarm Override Switch???? You may need the Dealership to Reset the Alarm if not.
