Still no power to fuel pump after changing relays. Fuel pump looks new don't know what to try next. Tried tracing wires but can't keep track of all of them because of the wire looms. Where does the power start at maybe I could start from there. Thanks for all your help!

Check the inertia switch and reset it. It is usually located on the passenger side under kick plate, under glovebox area, under the carpeting also.

There is a Fuel Pump relay. Not sure if Ford has a Relay Box under the Hood though. There are also Fuses that Control some items of the Fuel System. Try the Relays first and see what you have.

The Best and Easiest way is to Locate a Relay that you Know is OK, Like those things are Working and swap it Around. What Usually do though is go and get a Couple of Extra Relays and keep them in my Shop. You can take them out one at a Time that way and just use the New ones until you find the Bad ones. They just cost a Couple of Bucks each.

They do get a Little warm. This is a Trial and Error Process so, Give it a Shot and let me know what you get so if we need to we can keep going.

No Problem! The Wires are Very Hard to trace I know. Have you tried to find a Haynes or Chilton Repair book for your Truck? They give exploded views of a lot of these things and could help you a lot with this.

There should not be Much Difference in the Models. Try it and see how much is not Relavent to your Truck.

Did the Chilton Book not help in Locating the Route of these Wires?

It is not Easy Either Way to Trace these Wires But, The Diagrams should show you where they Stop and Start. The only thing that I can tell you is to Try and Find where they Lead to By the Diagram Again and See if there is not a Short Between them. It's REALLY Hard to do when I am not there to see them.

If the fuel pump running when the key is turned on,could the fuel pump relay still be bad? If so where is the fuel pump relay?

Fuel pump relay is not bad if the fuel pump runs and anyway it has nothing to do with spark. Relay is in the underhood fuse box.

Which relay under the dash controls the fuel pump

Only the PCM and the fuel pump relay power the pump.
If the engine runs on starting fluid, we can assume the ASD relay is working because the coils have voltage from it.
You need to check to see if the pump relay has power from a 20amp fuse and a ground signal from the PCM. If it does, and you have power to the pump, the pump has failed.

2000 buick regal. Losing fuel pump voltage free wiring diagrams ! Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Then click the search button , then click blue link .The 7th diagram down shows two fuel pump relays , This I have not seen before ! One is speed cont. relay an the other is just fuel pump relay ? The speed control one has a resistor in the electrical circuit . That is way your droping voltage .
Fuel Pump Electrical Circuit Diagnosis (VIN K)
Fuel Pump Electrical Circuit Diagnosis (VIN 1)

The PCM alters fuel pump speed by energizing the fuel pump speed control relay. Under normal conditions, the fuel pump speed control relay is energized. The applied voltage to the fuel pump is controlled by a resistor assembly. When higher fuel volume is required due to increased engine load, MAP sensor value over 90 kPa the PCM de-energizes the fuel pump speed control relay circuit. The increased voltage to the in-tank fuel pump allows a higher volume of fuel to be delivered to the fuel rail. The PCM also compensates for low system voltage by energizing the fuel pump speed control relay.

Have it check for codes !

I have no power to fuel pump wires when key is on or trying to start.i did run a hot wire to pump so i had fuel pressure, but still did not start.could my fuel computer have broken down from sitting for...

There should be a fuel pump fuse or relay under the engine hood that can be replaced and you could also have an emergency fuel cutoff switch that may have activated which would require being reset if you struck a ditch or something with the car before the problem started.
