SOURCE: how to reset oil life
To reset the engine oil life, do this: push info button till oil life comes up, then push inforeset, to reset to 100%
To reset the transaxle oil life do this: early models; press off and rear defrog button simultaneously.
later models; press info till the oil message shows up then, press and hold info reset.
Some models have both, but my 94 Deville only monitors the transaxle

Replace the ign. lock cylinder and chip key to fix it. The tiny wires to the lock cylinder have broken that ore part of the cylinder. Common problem.

It sounds like they didn't get the cooling system filled completely, there's an air bubble. I had a problem with a 2000 Oldsmobile overheating, it turned out to be the aftermarket thermostat. I bought a stat from GM the problem went away.

If you are looking to replace the shocks on this Deville, you could be looking at a price that you may not like. With all the different components to the air ride system it is a good idea to go with a conversion kit that allows you to get away from the air all together by using a coil spring conversion. Strutmasters offers great kits at a great price with a lifetime warranty. I would rather pay half the price to fix my car and have the parts be warranted than buy expensive parts for the car not knowing its going to fix the problem and have no warranty with it. Check them out!
