The lights are changed fairly simple, First of all you have to open the hood and look at the back side of the headlamp, you will see a screw on cap on the back of the headlamp system You may have to take somethings out of your way (Battery) I believe it may have to come out. Always disconnect battery by taking the Neg, off first and then positive, Now you should be able to get at the lamp by turning the lamp cover off counter clockwise, disconnect the wire by pulling tab up and unplugging it. Now you should be ready to remove and install the new lamp. ( Be Careful Not To Touch Lamp Glass With Your Fingers) Only touch the Plastic Touching glass will cause lamp to burn out premature

How do remove a headlight from the the assembly for a 1999 buick park avenue

Hello there,
For you to be able to take off the assembly of the headlight on your car, please follow the steps below:
Ensure that the headlight switch (on the driver side of the Regal's passenger cabin) is in the off position.
Release the hood latch and open the hood.
Approach the passenger-side headlamp assembly. (Although on your left, this is the right-side lens assembly when sitting inside the vehicle.)
Locate the two white retaining brackets on the top rear edge of the assembly.
Lift the tabs straight upward about an inch to an inch and a half.
Grab the assembly from the sides of the front edge (being careful of any broken lens pieces; although the lens is made of plastic, you can still get cut by jagged pieces).
Firmly pull the assembly outward, away from the front of the Regal. Wiggle the assembly slightly to unseat the headlamp assembly alignment guide pins from their anchors.
Pull the assembly out only far enough to access the wire harness connections of the low-beam headlight, the high-beam headlight and the integrated parking/directional light.
Twist the retaining collar of the low-beam lamp (the outside lamp, toward the fender) a quarter-turn counterclockwise to remove the light from the headlamp assembly while it is still attached to the wire harness. Be careful not to contact the halogen bulbs with your bare hands, or you can damage the bulbs.
Twist the retaining collar of the high-beam headlight (the inner headlight, closer to the grill) in the same manner as you did the low-beam lamp to remove the high-beam bulb and harness from the headlamp assembly.
Twist the socket of the last remaining integrated parking/directional bulb and wire harness assembly a quarter-turn counterclockwise to remove it from the headlight assembly.
Discard the assembly and replace it with the new headlamp assembly by following the steps above in reverse order. Make sure to align the tabs of the retaining collar and parking/directional lamp socket with the mating notches on the new headlamp assembly before turning them all clockwise a quarter-turn to lock them in place.

How do i change headlamp bulbs

Changing the headlight bulb is a little bitdifficult for those not familiar with the vehicle. Both the high and low beamsare encased in a sealed unit, which also contains the turn signal, parkinglights, and side reflector. To change a single headlight, the entire headlightcompartment must be removed from the car. Once you understand how to remove thesealed headlight unit from the car, replacing the bulb is relatively simple.Follow the steps below on how to change the headlamp bulb in this car. Removal 1. Open the hood of the Jeep and locate thelong, headlamp jackscrew. The screw is located almost directly above theheadlight unit and can be removed using a 7-mm socket wrench. This will allowyou to remove the bezel from the grill opening panel. Remove the three screwsattached to the retaining ring to the headlight console. The screws are locatedon the bottom front and side of the unit. In some models the screws have beenreplaced with ball-stud alignment posts, enabling you to remove the headlightunit by simply wiggling it loose. 3. Disconnect the headlamp bulb wireharness connector located at the front of the headlight unit. This is locateddirectly above and between the parking and turning bulbs. 4. Separate the sealed headlight unit fromthe vehicle; disconnect and replace the old bulb. The high beam is locatedtoward the center of the car. The low beam is the bulb on the outermost edge ofthe unit. This is how to Install 1. Reconnect the headlamp bulb's wireharness-connector. Then Replace the headlight unit in the headlight canister. Positionthe retaining ring back in its original position and install the three screwsagain. If you wiggled the unit out, ensure that it is replaced firmly. 2. Install the headlamp bezel by replacingthe 7-mm jackscrew on the inside of the hood. Make sure all connections aretight before starting the car and inspecting the replacement.

I need to replace the driver side low beam headlamp bulb, but the bulb itself can't be removed. I have removed the battery for easier access. HELP !

The low beam bulb, drivers side, can be replaced by removing the entire headlight assembly, unplugging the electrical connection to the bulb, "pinch" the retaining clip on the bulb and the bulb comes right out. The only problem is the cost of the bulb---about $ 140. The replacement took about 45-50 minutes to complete.

Replace brakelight in trunk of 300m

REMOVAL
NOTE: Some moisture accumulation inside a vented headlamp unit is normal. Moisture will vent from tubes or vents located on the back of the unit. This normal condition will appear as a fogging on the inside of the headlamp lens (similar to the fog that sometimes appears on the inside of the windshield). This moisture may be removed by activating the headlamps on high beam for 15 minutes.

If water droplets larger than 1 mm in size have accumulated on the inside of the headlamp lens, the headlamp unit should be replaced.

CONCORDE/300M
Release hood latch and open hood.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative remote cable.
Remove the one bolt retaining the washer bottle filler neck and move aside.
Remove the two bolts retaining the speed control servo and move aside.
Remove fasteners to upper radiator crossmember:
Two jack screws on each side.
Three crossmember retaining bolts on each side.
Three push pin fasteners across top of grille.
Gently pry back grille and remove the two bolts to front crossmember. This will allow you to move the crossmember forward, pivoting at the radiator grille, to access the headlamp unit.
NOTE: Once the crossmember is loose, take care not to scratch the fenders.

Maneuver the headlamp unit to remove from behind fascia. Gentle prying of fascia may be needed to clear it enough to remove the headlamp unit.
Disconnect the lamp connectors and transfer lamps if replacing unit.
INTREPID
Release hood latch and open hood.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove jackscrews attaching headlamp to body (Headlamp Housing – Intrepid).
Remove headlamp from body.
Disconnect wire connector from headlamp and parking, side marker, and turn signal lamps.
Remove headlamp housing from vehicle

Head light cover

Step1Your first stop should be to your local auto parts shop to get the bulbs you need. You'll need to pick up #9006 bulb, this one has a gray bas and is used for replacing the outside high beam. If you are looking to replace your inner low beams you'll need to pick up #9005 which has a black base. The bulbs should run you about $16.00 USD. Step2Alright once you have your bulb and are ready to replace it make sure you have popped the hood the release lever is on the inside of your vehicle. Step3While facing your car with the hood open, your going to remove the grill by pushing down on the two retainer clips which are on the top of the grill. You'll need a flathead screwdriver to help you with the rest of the retainer clips. There are two on the bottom ends of your grill one in the center and 2 on each side. Now you'll just pull up on the grill and it should come out easily. Step4On each side of the headlamp you should see a One inch long tab, when you pull up on the tabs it will release the headlamp so that you may pull the headlamp toward you. Pull the head lamp out. Step5There will be two round rubber caps at the rear of the headlamp. Remove the caps and then pull out the wire harness from the bulb.
Replace the bulb or bulbs and remember that #9006 has the gray base and is for the high beam and #9005 is for the low beam and has the black base. Reconnect the wire harness and replace everything to its original position and now you have a fixed headlamp! Congratulations!
