It is affecting the Gas Mileage! The Proper Tire Inflation Information is on the Side of the Tires. Look right at the Point where the Tires Meet the Rims. There is Small print here that Gives you the Proper PSI for the Tires. If you cannot read it, Take a Piece of Chalk and Highlight them to make them Easier to Read.

The pressure sensor is inside the tire attached to the fill valve. Any good tire store can either replace it or re-synchronize it to the car.

I am driving the sane distance to work no changes, of directon. why my 2005 toyota corrola is burining up more petrol than my 1998. need some advice.

No two cars will get the same gas mileage, if your 1998 was a stripped down version without many accessories and was kept well tuned up, it would get better mileage than a 2005 model that had more accessories and needed a tune up. Everytime you use the air conditioner your gas mileage is affected, and even if you open your windows it is affected.

Keeping a car well tuned and the tire pressure correct and limited use of accessories will help on your gas mileage.

There is a warning light right under the "D" drive that looks like a horse shoe, is that the tire pressure light. I do not have a manual.

That is low tire pressure sensor. Check your tires and make sure that they are inflated correctly. If they are and the light still stays on then you possibly have a bad sensor that will need to be diagnosed, but check air pressure and add the correct amount, 36 psi

2003 Gr. Cherokee Tire PMS overactive with smaller sidewall tires

Hello partner. The difference in air pressure variations from a 16',17' or 20" tires is a non-factor. Any size tire will go up about 1psi per 10 degrees ambient temperature. The recommended pressure for an 03 Grand Cherokee is 33psi. So if it's a rainy 55 degrees in the great northwest when you set your pressures the temperature on your trip to Death Valley would have to climb to about 175 degrees. On a different note maybe your alarm just isn't calibrated correctly.

'03 Merc Mountaineer humming noise when turning

If same tires as before & air pressure set correctly, or as usual, a humming when swerving, or turning one way or the other or both, it's usually a pretty good indicator.
