G37 battery installation-what kind and who can do it

Is it more complicated because of the starter button? Can I take it to my corner service station and get a battery installed?

Is there something in the way of the battery that would make it more difficult to remove and replace than normal. If not NO. Most auto part stores offer free instalation now. Also if you are not going to maintain your battery yourself, get a sealed battery or no maintenance battery.

2010 G37 - battery was dead - jumped it off and drove it for twenty minutes. Next morning it wouldn't start and now it wont stop clicking (like a relay). Any suggestions?

if the battery goes dead or low it must be recharged with a charger, driving the car will not recharge it properly. The alternator is only meant to maintain the battery, not recharge it. Get the battery recharged and verified and then try again.

What baterry size suppose to put on my 08 g37 coupe?

You should check with Infinity to see if any vehicle software reprogramming is required before replacement. At the minimum, you have to know your radio code.
Per the interstate website:
http://www.interstatebatteries.com/b/automotive-truck/2008/infiniti/g37/N-lZzihws5Z1z0tw7hZ1yw9nvnZzihwsq?dsNav=Arpp~12,A~Part+Number
MT7 AGM Part # MT7-34R or
Mega-Tron Plus Part # MTP-24F
Mega-Tron II Part # MT-24F
Per Advance Auto Parts, the group size listed is 35. They install batteries for most cars for free if you buy it there. I would call and ask the same question about programming above.

G37 won't start. Battery is good, key remote is good, the instrument panel lights up if I press the start button without stepping on the brakes. When I press the brakes to start it will just go of

My g37 will start up but after 5mins of warming up it will just shutoff, now my keyless remote won't even open the car or start it unless its in the key charging port.... Any suggestions what this might be? Also went to mechanic and no codes popped up

Car is dead. When I try to start it, no sound.

If you had power ie lights radio etc, the problem is likely the starter. When a bad starter gets hot, it will fail to start the car but when it's cold (1st thing in the morning or after sitting awhile) it will start the car. If this is what you've been experiencing, you should have the service station check out the starter. Best of luck.

Having Trouble Starting up G37

You need a battery. That gauge on the dash is for the alternator not the battery. If you take it to a Nissan/Infinity dealer or for that matter any shop with a good battery/starter/charging tester you will know for sure but most likely its just a bad battery.

Having Trouble Starting up G37

For about 2 wks ive had some trouble starting my Infiniti G37. every once and a while when i start up my truck it had some trouble but it would eventually start. it would only take me about once or twice to start it. i thought it was a cold engine problem. but now the ****** wont even start at all. all i can hear is the clicking noise. i know its not the battery cause it shows it is pretty well charged on the instrument panel window when my truck is actually running. so not being much of a gearhead can anyone help me out. is it something i can fix without getting any parts? or am i doomed to being a whole new starter. btw it started today with the help of jumper cables. but like i said i dont think its the battery but i can be wrong.
