I have a citroen berlingo van does the same thing I open the door the radio comes on with the interior light. I disconnected the light and tried it, same thing I have now noticed though that when I lock the door with the key the radio will go off after about 2 minutes. Try it and let me know if locking the door with the key works? its always puzzled me but I have left it as it still turns of.

SOURCE: I have a 2006 GMC
you have a bad door switch on the drive's door - replace it.
more then that you may have a short in the wires coming from the car frame to the door itself, but try the switch first.

This function is called delayed exit, and it is signaled by the door ajar switch of any door that is opened. The system needs to be scanned with a special scanner by the dealer to see if the switch is defective in one of the doors. Since the switches are in each door and mounter inside the door on the latch it is not practical to guess and end up taking poss all the door panels off before you find the one that is the problem, if that is what the problem is to start off with, others things can cause this like a defective exit module or a shorted wire to the chassis or a broken door harness wire inside the insulator where it goes from the body post to the door.

Try spraying contact cleaner to your on/off sw., turn the sw. on & off 5 or 6 times, also try spraying the door button sw.

My Guess is that radio is not the original one. They didn't connect the right wire that goes to your ignition switch. (acc power on) Hope that helps.
