Do you mean break lights?
If so then i would check the break light switch on or close to the break pedal

no, brake lights come on when i apply pressure on the brake pedal, it's the red lights at the back while your driving at night do not come on (running lights, tail lights)

OK... not sure if this will help but the same happen to me on my truck. The taillight had a wire harness that hooks to a board that you put the light bulbs in. That board somehow got water in it and it corroded which did not make good contact. took it apart even know it was not meant to be taken apart and long story short i had to put wires in it to fix it...

no
reverse lights get power from a reversing switch and hove a separate circuit
check for correct bulbs in the holders as a duel contact bulb in a single point contact holder will short and blow fuses

2004 Trailblazer lower taillights not working upper work fine.

With the condition of the screws you should check to make sure there is a good connection to the lower bulbs for both power and ground.

Brake light works, tail light does not work. uses same bulb. how to fix?

check you taillight fuse, if its good could be headlight switch, if the bulb is good, the bulb has 2 elements, if one is bad the other may still work

My 1992 ford ranger driver side tail light wont work but the reverse light does the bulb is good done checked that any suggestions

They are separate bulbs.
are you saying you check both of those bulbs?
if you did, and the taillight/marker light is a good bulb, then it's either the bulb receptacle, or the wiring going to it.

Taillights, back-up lights, runninglights & instrament lights

You need and electrical mechanic. There must be a broken wire or bad connection. You have to check everywhere under and in the back of your taillights. Good Luck!

Taillights dont work, brake lights work, fuses are ok, 1998 Honda Civic

the rear bulbs have 2 coils in them (1 for brake light and 1 for taillights) You need to replace them with new ones. This will solve the prob. Good luck

Geo Prizm brake lights

I had the same problem, what I did to fix it was as follows:
  • Removed the plastic light holders from the tail lamp.
  • On each of the three bulbs there is a ground wire that is attached to the plastic light holder via a screw. Remove these connections and clean, I used some very light sand paper.
  • Reassemble, Worked like a Charm for me, and I save a $90 charge from Firestone by doing it myself...
