Question about 2002 Saturn S-Series
I have tryed cleaning the thorottle body and idle air control and ignition control module and coil pack and changing the spark plugs
Try spraying some engine cleaner directly on the intake manifold gasket while idling. If there is a change in idle , your gasket is gone. These cars are known for this, and if you had the head off car , this should have been replaced at that time. I did my own last week.. Spray all vacuum hoses as well. Only one more thing I can think of is the EGR gone. 2 10mm bolts to take this off. When you get it off, look to see how carboned up it is. Push plunger in fully. If it sticks the first time you push it in, it was probably part of your problem. Be careful of , or replace the gasket while you're there. If you cannot figure it out from there, let me know and we can go from there. Cheers from Nova Scotia!
