I started the engine, pressed the brake and was unable to shift out of park. The emergency "BRAKE" light was on but the emergency brake was not engaged, also my ABS light and check engine went on. I was able to turn the truck off, advance the key 2 clicks and put the truck in neutral and then start the car to get it to drive. Then I noticed strange power problems, I couldnt use wipers,AC,navigation, power windows, turn signal. My speedometer wouldn't move from 0, but the truck runs fine. could this be a relay or a fuse or something?

You have a bad switch at the brake pedal. Or a loose wire. Try light pulling on the wires on the switch at the brake pedal under the dash. They should be tight and secure. If tight and secure the switch could be bad.

It is not the multifunction switch. The power feed goes thru the brake switch before the multi function. You have no power the the brake switch because your shift interlock is not allowing you to shift it. I'll look up the wiring diagram and repost with a solution.

You need to check the connection on the front of the master cylinder. This is the brake disengage for the cruise control. If it is wet this is the problem of the short. You need to replace the unit. This was a recall by ford. Now check the #15 fuse (5a) this controls the brake interlock switch. When you put the fuse in you will hear a click. This means you can now take the truck out of park. The lights will come on and the windows will work. If the windows don't work check the other fuses. By pulling them and replacing them made the windows work for me.
