Question about Cars & Trucks
If the oil level is fine, it could be just be a bad pressure sending unit or something more sinister like a blocked oil passage, spun engine bearing or a failed/ failing oil pump. I think this is life threatening serious for your engine. have a shop check it out.
Hope you like MST-3 diagnostic scan tool

Have you checked to see if the oil filter? it may be the source of the leak, also check the oil press sending unit and the oil pan drain plug.

Most likely the oil pressure switch may be damaged. This is a simple procedure. Change and observe the results

You may not have put the right amount of oil in your car, your oil pressure sensor could be faulty, or you may have a leak.
By revving your engine, you're increasing the pressure and thus turning off the light and making the sensor think that it's at the correct pressure.

per the Haynes manual for the 95-05 Dodge Stratus on the 2.0L & 2.4L DOHC 4 cyl engines, the oil pressure sending unit is located at the left end of the rear side of the block. On 2.4L SOHC 4 cyl engines, the sending unit is located at the left end of the rear side of the block. On 2.5L & 3.0L V6 engines, the sending unit is located on the oil filter housing, on the front side of the block. On 2.7L V6 engines, the sending unit is located at the left end of the rear side of the block. To access it, remove the heat shield.
