Make sure the parking brake is fully released. If so, check the brake fluid level. Read the owner's manual on how to do so correctly and the correct type of fluid to add.

Replace tail light fuse first. I think you have multiple problems.

My tail lights work but my brakes lights don't

You actually have two different circuits, one for each.
The bulbs should have two filaments inside.
Depending on the make model and year, you should have a fuse and the brake switch, plus the circuit goes thru the turn signal switch.

Car will not come out of park

The park lock safety system gets power from the brake light circuit, this means unless the brake lights work and the pedal is depressed the system locks the shifter in the part position. The first thing you do is check the brake lights, if the lights work you have other issues best left to the dealer if the brake lights don't worth then you have found the cause and just need to repair the brake lights, this can be the brake light switch or the wiring connector to the switch. Repair as needed.

There is acar picture appearing at the panelboard and i don^t what that mean

does it have any other little markings that light up with it? like if it has little lines coming from where the brake lights are then you probably have a brake light bulb blown.

What does the symbol in the shape of a horseshoe with an ! in the middle of it mean?, I have a 2004 Rav 4, and it just lit up today?

It means one or more tires is low on air pressure. The correct tire inflation pressure will be located on a sticker inside of the driver door opening (usually 28-30 psi). Check all four tires for proper inflation. If one is low it more than likely has a leak.

Abs light came on ,now hear like what sounds like apump running. next morning battery was dead .it ran all night.

This is your electronic brake control module(ebcm). This is the module for the anti-lock brake system. The module is located on the inside of the frame just below the drivers seat area. The problem is the electrical part of the module. This is the top part of the module and you don`t have to disconnect any brake lines. It also isn`t in the easiest of places to work in.The 4 screws that hold it down are torx head screws and being in the area that they are in it can be difficult to remove because of rust. The other thing is this module is not cheap. If you don`t want it to drain the battery and don`t want to fix it right away then you can just remove the abs fuse in the under hood fuse panel. But you will not have anti-lock brakes.Just the regular brake system. If you do decide to replace it make sure you clean the area very good before starting because you don`t want dirt to get into the module when you take off the top part.Remember do not undo any brake lines. The fuse is a maxi fuse this means it is one of the big ones.Hope this helps.and let me know if you have any more questions.Good luck.

Changed brakes andd ow ABS lite came on

Hi:
The most common part to cause the ABS light is a wheel speed sensor. You should remove your wheels and inspect the wheel speed sensors, and make sure the harnesses are in good shape, and the sensors are all in place, and clean. Brake part cleaner spray works well....
