That has happened to me before. I parked the truck, turned off the engine, waited for about 5-10 and restarted. As long as the reduced speed indicator and/or the check engine light don't remain on you are good to go...hope this helps

My chevrolet aveo won't intermittently move from 2nd to 3rd or 4th gear, and have to reduce speed and move back down to 2nd and try again ....notice it more if trying to move up the gears quickly

This transmission is electronically shifted via solenoids controlled by a computer, so you need to have that tested for fault codes that may be in memory.

I have a 2005 A8 with a speed controlled wind diverter on the sun roof. When you slow down or speed up it moves and makes an awful racket....it moves which is good...it looks like there are two bars that...

I just brought my 2005 Audi A8 in for the same problem and it is the springs for the track operation and since my car is covered under the warranty, I will pay my 100 deductible and the balance is 30.00 for the warranty company so I would say it will cost you 130.00 at the dealership to fix this issue. Mine was making the same noise you described. I hope this helps.

COOLANT IN PCM

With growing fuel costs and problems of global warming that are being faced by our planet, automotive industry is trying its best to create cars and engines that are more fuel efficient. In a recent news release Chevrolet unveiled the working of The Air Shutter system which is going to be used in the much awaited Chevrolet Cruze Eco model giving it a decently good fuel economy of 40MPG or 17 kmpl.

Air Shutter System Working Greg Fadler, aerodynamics engineering group manager at Chevrolet and his team developed The Air Shutter system to make 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Eco one of the most fuel efficient small cars on the market achieving almost hybrid like fuel economy without the Hybrid cost and maintenance. This was achieved by using commonly used techniques of reducing overall weight and ride height to provide it the aerodynamic benefit. chevrolet+cruze+eco+air+shutter.gif
The real innovation is the front grill which has an automatic shutter system that senses wind flow and temperature conditions with sensors which, are connected to small electric motors that open and close the shutter as and when needed. When the car is moving at slow speed (city driving) the shutters open to provide maximum air flow to the engine for cooling thus, reducing radiator power consumption. The shutter remain closed during high speeds (highway driving), providing an increase in half a mile per gallon in combined city and highway driving.
The system however doesn't compromise with engine cooling in anyway. The system in fact helps to provide maximum cooing in the worst of conditions with the advantage of increased fuel economy.

I just had the heater blower and regulator changed on my 2001 KIA Sportage and it seems the air is very cold coming out of the vents until I drive the car. always was able to heat up just running the...

sounds to me like they have removed your thermostat as this is a real good indicatiopn of that. if you dont have one in the temp of your water stays really low as it is always moving unlike when thermostatically controlled where heat opens the valve. either way the car should be fine but will need it replacing if you live realy warm climate.

Power steering problem when moving slow or rpm drop

no it is the power steering pump. the pump is worn so at low rpm or low speeds it is real tough to steer. but when the rpm is picked up the steering gets easier.

Also check belt tension but at high rpm speeds the belt would slip and squel real loud. so i would point the problem to the power steering pump.

hope this fixs ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
