Question about 2004 Mercury Mountaineer
Cruise control works intermittently. Could a weak ground be problem? If so how do I find. The car has power seats and it seems to me that sometimes moving the driver's seat seems to make the cruise control work. Not all the time
I had this problem it was the switch on the break pedal it would move just enough so the break light did not come on but the cruise would not work

It is very common for seat heaters to fail. You can disconnect the heater from the wiring and place a voltmeter on the wiring. If you get a reading, then seat heater is bad.
