SOURCE: 1991 toyota camry automatic. Transmission is fine

sounds like you may not even have a 4th gear. worst thing is you may need a new transmission. try putting in some "Lucas Transmission Fix" it's like $12 at Autozone.. If that doesn't help, take it to a transmission shop and have them check inside your transmission to see if you need a new transmission or if it's something that could be fixed. It may even be a sensor.

Car wont go 30 mph

if when you get to 30 miles per hour the rpms are excessively high then the 3rd gear on you're transmission is out. you can try changing the transmission filter and fluid but most likely will not help and you will have to replace the transmission or have it rebuilt anyways. I'm assuming its an automatic transmit ion and therefore if high rpms at 30 miles per hour its sadly the transmission

1994 nissan altima sometimes sluggish at take off, high rpms when changing gears

This sounds like a slipping transmission , check the fluid level first and make sure its full, if its full then you have ****** problems and may need to have ****** rebuild done,

Another thing is to make sure the trans passing gear cable is connected at the throttle where the gas cable is.

I hae a 2000 dodge ram 4wd automatic and it wont shift just revs up real high

I have a 1999 Ram that does the same thing. according to my research try re-adjusting the transmission bands. Depending what gear the truck ramps in rpms depends on what band needs adjusted.....the first 2 gears can be adjusted outside the transmission but the third gear is internal....also new transmission fluid and filter is recommended....is this doesnt solve the problem could be a solenoid....or governer pressure but that should throw a engine code is there is improper pressure. Hope this help GL

If you want to change the "Remove clucht trasmision bars front and rear, remove the cylinder in the booth attendant said you have to remove the gear-change broadcasts have jack-remove the bracket that supports the transmission back-to remove the exhaust pipe - Put the jack, remove the screws that attach the transmission with the engine off, remove the transmission clucht well ... You have to ensure the transmission on the jack will not fall

1998 S70 manual (wont change gear until idle is under 2500rpm)

Being it is a manual transmission and the engine was removed, it is likely the clutch and pressure plate not releasing completely at high rpms.
