If you haven't had a tune up recently, get one! If the plugs, points, rotor, distributor cap have not been changed within 2 years change them and have the engine timing adjusted. Regular tuneups are REQUIRED on high performance engines like yours.

2004 sunfire showed code po 300

Probably not. Depends on what the red line is.
Code 300 is a random miss - which could be a spark plug, coil, fuel injector, or other problem.

Lincoln started to miss and the check engine light came on . The car will not accelerate in neutral

It is designed to cut out around 3000rpm in park, so you don't over rev it.

Testing TP sensor is easy to test too, just in case it has a dead spot in it.

I just bought a 2001 explorer sport 2dr, 131,000km and all of a sudden when i was slowing down at a light, it got alittle jerky, then stalled out completly. Also i have only driven about 50km and i've gone...

i dont know why it stalled out but i do know if in park or neutural it has a limitor on it that will not let the rpms go to high and it feels like its missing but this is normal to keep the engine from reaving to high.
