Question about 1990 Toyota Camry
Need to replace blower motor on '90 camry. Any clues to location of blower and steps to remove and replace?
I've changed 3. Two in Camry's and one in an Accord. You HAVE to remove the glovebox and everything that goes behind it. the Unit is huge. Also the carpet will come into play as you are in the final stage. Don't forget about the bolts in the dashboard. You have to open the passenger door to see it or them. Sometimes they are behind an air vent to.

the pump is connected to the cam belt and is very tricky you could do a lot of damage if you set the timing wrong. when is the timing belt due for changing it would be done then or get it done now and save money incase you run out of water and blow your head gasket

Hi. The removal is really easy; unplug the motor under the glovebox, and remove the 3 screws that holds the assembly in. You can have it out in 10 minutes.

There may be a wire or vacuum pipe not plugged in correctly or plug leads on wrong plugs maybe. Whatever is causing the problem wouldn't be much so tell him to get his **** back out there and remember what he unplugged from where.

The blower motor for the inside of the car is located on the passenger side of the dash under the glove box. Should have a lower panel under the dash to remove. Remove the panel and you will see the blower motor mounted under it.
