I've changed 3. Two in Camry's and one in an Accord. You HAVE to remove the glovebox and everything that goes behind it. the Unit is huge. Also the carpet will come into play as you are in the final stage. Don't forget about the bolts in the dashboard. You have to open the passenger door to see it or them. Sometimes they are behind an air vent to.

SOURCE: where is fan blower motor located on 99 toyota

The blower motor for the inside of the car is located on the passenger side of the dash under the glove box. Should have a lower panel under the dash to remove. Remove the panel and you will see the blower motor mounted under it.

Blower motor on 2000 toyota camry works only on hi settig

Hi!!
The blower motor speeds are ultimately controlled by the Blower Motor Resistor, when the Resistor becomes defective, current goes right thru it and the Blower Motor only operates at max. speed. Replacing the Resistor is a simple task. Locate electrical connector to blower motor, trace back wiring no more than 8" to next plug, The device where the plug is connected to is the Blower Motor Resistor, disconnect plug and remove the two screws, remove and replace Resistor.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry and the interior fan works on high only. What could be the problem?

There is a blower resister module that controls the speeds,it is located near the blower motor and mounts on the blower case.It actually mounts on the blower case, but goes inside the case to keep it cool, the blower motor is the reason the resister has gone out,it is drawing too many amps, even though it might be blowing good, and sounding good,it is the cause,so replace it also,or you will be replacing the blower motor resister again,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

Where is the heater fan relay located on 1990 mercedes 190e

If the heater is not working (fan is not turning), but you are able to press the climate control buttons to activate the AC and venting, then the relay (actually this is the ACC in the dash with the buttons, there is no separate relay that controls the AC/Heater fan) is not the problem. Check the fuse box in the right side engine compartment, then check the long 3A flat fuse located in a coverd case atop the the wheel well in front of the fuse box. If these are okay, the fan motor is the problem. If the motor needs to be replaced, you'll need to remove the front cowl under the windshield, and also the windshield wiper assembly. The motors usually bind after 20+ years and need to be replaced. Sometimes, they will bind, then work again. Sometimes they'll bind and blow the long fuse. The job takes about 2 hours and the motor is about $150-$250.

Heater on 1990 Toyota Camry mysteriously quits working after about 5 minutes of operation. I have checked the blower motor and the switch and they work fine.

If you mean the blower stops, make sure you have access to the blower. Turn on heater when blower stops check to make sure it still has power which I think it will. This will tell you that the blower motor is going bad and shutting down when it is warmed up. To repair just replace the blower motor.
