Yours is leaking from the round side servo cover. A quick fix for someone that knows the correct way to put them in. It is held in by a snap ring and a big spring is underneath it pushing it out. So it must be pressed down to remove and replace the snap ring. A common problem for these vehicles. They will drip on the edge of the pan and make it look like it is leaking.

You mean the rear end? 90 weight gear oil. Regular or Synthetic. Considering the year of the truck, regular will out last the truck. Most people never change gear oil. Hope this is what you are talking about.

YOU NEED TOOLS AND A HAYNES REPAIR MANAUL TO SHOW AND TELL YOU HOW HEADS ARE REMOVE.YOU NEED A STRAIGHT EDGE LIKE FRAMING SQUARE AND FEELER GAUGE TO DECK THE THE HEAD TO CHECK FOR WARPAGE.OR THE MACHINE SHOP CAN CHECK WARPAGE ON HEAD.SEE IF REPLACED HEAD GASKET AND DONT CHECK WARPAGE WHICH SHOULD NOT EXCEED 0.004 INCH.IF SO YOUR NEW HEAD GASKET WILL LEAK ALSO.
