2000 F150, heater, radio, door buzzer works while truck is off

I have a Ford F150, and the battery went dead. I charged the battery, but noticed once i opened the door, the buzzer was dinging, Radio was on, heater fan was running. and I had the key in my hand. I started and drove the truck, but when i parked it for the night, the next day the battery was dead again. seems like the accessories are stuck on.

I Ask a Mechanic to change Starter and now most light are dead.

i would say check all the fuses again, both in passenger compartment and under the hood. plus, the mechanic should be responsible for this issue. it also sounds like you battery is not fully charged. i would also suspect, the starter was changed without disconnecting the battery and something was shorted as he installed the starter. good luck

2000 bravada worked ok yesterday went out this morning and won't start. Lights. radio and heater fan run and tries to turn over then just clicks. Could it be starter or alternator

The indication for your symptom is a dead battery, loose battery cable of a faulty ground wire. n If the battery is dead it could be an indication of a charging issue or there is some parasitic load or light that was left on

While I was driving my radio shut off then all my lights went dim, then it completely died.

would the vehicle restart or was the battery completely dead? could be a bad battery of a bad alternator. take the battery to a good autoparts store and they will check / charge it for you.

2002 F150 Radio went dead, noticed voltage dropping almost completely. Turned off heat and lights. Shortly afterwards, voltage returns back to normal. Everything is operational. I let run for 15 min to...

The gauge in your truck reads the alternator output. Following are the possible causes:

1. Belt is slipping
2. Battery is shorted
3. Poor connection at battery or to frame
4. Alternator failing

The fact that it came back after turning off the heat and lights, I suspect the belt, and would start there.
