SOURCE: MY vw golf gt tdi turns over but will not start.

It has a manual transmission right? If so, try to start it by popping the clutch. That goes around the starter and will let us know if that's the problem.

Vw golf 6 keeps blowing fuse 7 on engine compartment

You have a dead short in the wiring of the car or the component it powers on. The only fix is to get a wiring diagram and trace down the wiring for fuse 6 until the issue is found.

What is the timming mark on 01 golf 1.9 tdi

Hi
There is a hole in the top of the bell housing with a pointed moulded arrow and a zero or line stamped into the flywheel. The camshaft needs a special lock tool to keep it timed.

2005 Golf TDI stop light lasts anywhere from zero time to 1 month max. Any suggestions to get a longer lasting solution?

it may not possibly be the bulb, could be a poor electrical connection that intermittantly causes the bulb not to light up

My 1999 TDI wouldn't start after a short trip and setting 5 hrs.

Did you notice any random noises that you have never heard or surging? It might be the alternater. You shoud probably should go to a pepboys of autozone and they will find out what it is. It also could be many other things like the ignition went dead, (hapened to me once.) Hope this helps.
