I have a 2000 audi a4 quattro with a 1.8t motor something blew apart and caused it to drain every bit of the antifreeze outta my car so what's a antifreeze I can get fast to put in it so it's not sitting...

Any antifreeze that has ethelene glycol in will do . For freezing conditions a mix of 55-60% anti freeze will be required . Castrol concentrate is a good one and mix it before pouring in the radiator. So for a 10 litre system mix 6 parts of antifreeze to 4 parts of water. Work out your requirements like that.

Wat will happen if my coolant light came on and all i had was regular anti freeze, the 50/50 and i put some in my 2002 745li bmw

If you are only adding a couple of litres, the freezing point of the coolant will be altered very slightly. The important thing to check is that the antifreeze you are adding is suitable for alloy engines. If you add water the freezing point of the coolant will be raised, again very slightly if you only add a couple of litres

Color of Antifreeze/Coolant for 2002 Camry

If there was red antifreeze in there before, adding green product can cause sludging in the water jacket of the engine. They are not compatible. The right type for this engine is the red or orange type.

Have the system drained and flushed a few times, and refill with red type coolant mix.

Im trying to find out what type of transmission fluid and antifreeze to use for a 1999 daewoo lagonda

standard ATF dextron tranny oil is ok and any brand or colour of antifreeze as at the end of the day forget the salesman glib talk its all eythelene glycol which is colourless in its natural state .What i do is to buy pure antifreeze and not diluted and add this at teh rate of two litres for a standard engine like this unless your in alaska then i would only use pure undiluted antifreeze

Have 1999 300 what coolant does it use

any eythelene glycol based antifreeze ,any colour or any make it doesnt matter and you can mix different colours and makes as well as its all teh same stuff ,i know the dealers will not like me saying this as they want to sell their overpriced stuff ,and they will tell you that only their specific brand of whatever colour is suitabe but go to auto factor and buy 5 litres of pure antifreeze and dilute it yourself ,your size engne should have about 3 litres of pure stuff which will hold it down to something like -20C ,any colder and use it neat
