94 F250 Diesel cutts off

I will be driving down the road and my truck just cuts off. No warnning lights come on or anything. Then it wont turn back on when I try to restart it. I have it parked right now. I had my buddy push me and it turned over after it hit 10 miles an hour. It stayed on as long as I had the enigine reved. When it felt like it was going to die I hit the gas and it kept going. Its kinda like the vehicle loose breath or stutters.

Ford f250 stalls when driving down the road,

What year... What engine? need info..... If it is a diesel with 7.3 L engine it is most likely the cam sensor. When it cranks does the tack work? that is another sign of a cam sensor It is on the front of the engine just to the right of the harmonic balancer top side. Replace it with a black one. Also could be in your IPR if diesel.

I have 94 grand marq, the oil light had come on,so just a few miles down the road it cutt off on me,so i put oil in it,then it started up running really bad,and then a few miles down the road it was kind of...

Sounds like you put too much oil in your vehicle- The engine is under pressure and when the oil is filled past full it makes it hard for the crank to turn because the engine has nowhere to displace the pressure being the oil is over filled. You should never use a warning light to determine weather or not you need more oil or any other fluid for that matter- Warning lights rely on sensors and if a sensor faults or fails it can give false signals (like yours did) thats why you should always use your engines dip stick to determine if you have proper fluid levels!- Drain your oil and try again. If your lucky you didn't bend a rod- if you did bend a rod your going to need repairs or a new engine (depending on your choice of direction in repair)

1998 F250 diesel jut quit while driving down the road.

With a diesel I'd have to look in to the fuel system. I'd check the pump first. I know from personal experience when a fuel pump dies on a fuel injected engine there is no warning... like someone reached over a turned the key off.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom

I would take a look at the throttle position sensor being faulty, but I can't explain why there is the only one fault code. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Your vehicle may be involved in recall 07S57 for camshaft postion sensor replacement. It will cause these symptoms you described.
Go this website http://www.genuineservice.com/genuineservice/en/default?page=Home

Look on the left side task bar, pick recalls and insert your complete VIN number to see if your vehicle is involved.
