Question about 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT
My husband has a 3000gt and he said that he bottomed out last week and he heard a pop sound and since then every time he brakes, the car makes this grinding sound. i think he needs new brakes, and I am guessing new rotors (I think that is what they are called, the silver things that are supposed to be smooth when you have new brakes on the car.) His emergency brake works fine, but not the normal pedal one... What exactly is wrong with it? I want to get it fixed, but my husband is out of town and I don't want to get screwed over at the auto shop. How much should this cost? And what do I say needs to be fixed?
If there is grinding sound you may need to replace the rotor and brake pads
in b/w 350 to 500 $ including the labor..
