It is located on your fuel rail on the driver's side back by the firewall on the intake manifold. It is round and hooked right on the fuel rail.

What is the location of a fuel pressure regulator on a 2006 Ford Fusion with a 2.3 liter

I believe it is part of the fuel pump module that is located inside the fuel tank. Instead of a regulator on the fuel rail they have a fuel rail pressure sensor.... only one pressure line from the tank no return line.

Where can I get a fuel pressure valve for my ford explorer 97 model

If you have the V8 engine most auto parts stores would have the part. I don't know if the V6 engines use a regulator or not.
Your Ford dealer would have the info.

98 Ford Ranger 2.5 liter engine. 12v. leaving the fuel pump relay, 6.7v. at the fuel pump shutoff inertia switch, and the fuel pump. Where am I losing voltage?

Iwould check the fuel pump next for 12 volts . If you have it there then you need to look at the fuel pressure regulator. The way this works is one side hooks to engine manifold vacuum and the other is pressure from the fuel pump and supplys the injectors no electrical involved but if the diafram goes or leaks you would get less or no fuel to the injectors . Its kind of hard to say for sure with out seeing it but it sounds like a no fuel issue it could be the pump so you need to investigate some more to find out if it is electrical or fuel related good luck with it

Fuel Problem

fuel pressure regulator? This diverts excess pressure from the rail back to the tank. When they wear out they usually stay stuck open thus diverting all pressure back to the tank. Pressure tests do not reveal this as pressure is checked before the rail not in it. I do believe you have a bad fuel regulator. They are 75US ouch.

tighten all fuel connections from filter to injector pump to injectors because if air is allowed in (between pressure pulses) then power loss will occur.
