- not yet but it run fine before fuel pump went out

- carb. version everything new but coil run perfect b4 new fuel pump checked fuel pump the way Chilton book said too works fine.

- problem solved 3 new fuel pumps later.first 2 were bad from parts store.

Have you checked your choke setting for wide open when engine warmed up? Is there a filter at carb also by chance? All ignition parts are new, plugs wires etc? How's timing?

weak spark to plug will make it not run under a load have you done a tune up

i had this same problem...it was timing off...i was told when fuel pump goes out on 22re it sometimes knocks off timing...i drove mine with it dying at idle and it chewed up my disributor gear...
