SOURCE: unable to remove fan from water pump

Remember, fan has a reverse thread. Righty-tightey, lefty-loosey does not apply. You need a clutch fan wrench. (available at your local auto parts store.)

04 DODGE Ram hemi cylinder 3 misfire

Check engine compression and compare. then test running engine compression most engines have about 130-170 cranking compression and about 90-110 running compression. OR bring that cylinder to its Top Dead Center compression stroke apply air to the cylinder and check to see where the air is going open throttle plate bad intake valve, from exhaust pipe bad exhaust valve, from oil cap piston rings.

What is the lifetime of fuel pump on 1500 dodge hemi 5.7l? can loss of oil cause failure?

well it all depends normal life for a fuel pump should be at least 60k but they go out alot on all makes and models, due to dirty fuel filters and sediment in the tank or dirty gas, so really it depends on how the fuel delivery system is maintenenced, but on thing for sure is that oil loss couldnt not have any effect on the fuel pump or any part of the fuel system

2004 ram 1500 with 5.7 hemi using 1 quart every 3,000 miles

Slide a large piece of cardboard under the truck after driving for ten minutes note in which area directly above the spot on the cardboard the oil is coming from then get under the vehicle with a drop light to look for the origin of the leak, if no leak is detected then it may be the engine is burning oil this could either be valve stem seals or broke or worn oil rings.
