Where is the Hazzard flasher found in a 2008 Chevy Cobalt?

My searches indicate that it is not in the fuse box where it should be. The flasher relay is shown under the left side of the dash console, but then I found this.

The Chevy cobalt does not have a flasher relay, the cobalt turn signals are fully solid state and run through the PCM (powertrain control module) in the car, the sound comes from your speaker in the front left.

2008 Kia Sorento - Hazard lights don't work and left turn signal stays on when engine is off. Help!!!

Wild guess the hazard light switch or "flasher" relay is bad, which in turn affects the turn signal issue. For a temporary fix, remove the fuse for either or both devices, until you or your reliable mechanic can find a fix.

check the fuse panel for the emergency flashes and pull the fuse,, It probably runs more than just that one function, but at least you'll save the battery untill you get a new switch
