SOURCE: 2000 chevy lunima rear brake

Chevys are bare to blead, especially if it has ABS. Chevy dealers actually use TECH 2 / their computer to blead ABS systems properly. With it, they open the ports in ABS module, which helps the brake fluid flow. Unless of course you have ripped the sensor wire for ABS by accident.

SOURCE: Need to replace brake lines on 1996 chevy cavalier

There isn't a "diagram" per se for this, but if you order the lines from the dealer they only fit one way.

SOURCE: bleeding brakes 2000 suburban wsith ab

Why were the brake lines replaced?

Sounds like the mastercylinder may have run dry. You have to bench bleed the master and then DO NOT allow fluid to run low, while bleeding brakes...

if master cylinder runs low on fluid and air gets in, almost impossible to bleed with out releasing the lines and bleed master it self.

Brake fluid leaking rear drivers side1997 cavalier

The leak could be due to a leaking brake line in the rear or a leaking brake cylinder. Have the car inspected for the leak by a reputable garage. The car will need to be towed, since it has no brakes.
If you do your own work, refill the master cylinder. Have someone depress the brake peddle while you look under the car for the leak.

Hi there.... i just changed a brake line... i

fill up the master and leave the cap off. open up all the bleeders. allow to sit for 5-10 minutes. hopefully, it will start to gravity bleed. after this, close up all the bleeders and try again. sequence: right rear, left rear, right front, left front. it sounds as if you just have an excessive amount of air and it can sometimes be difficult to bleed. you may need to repeat this process several times.

2000 Chev Cavalier - slight leak in brake line connector directly under the drivers side door. Can this connector be replaced or do the lines have to be re-flared?

Normally this far back the line would have to be reflared to fix the leak. If you have a Firestone auto repair near you they check the brake system at no charge and you can see exactly what is wrong while it is on the lift.
