Sounds like you blew a seal and you are losing pressure. The best bet is to overhaul all the seals.

Your seals in the transmission are most likly going out. your best bet is to just buy a new transmission because replacing the seals and berrings in the one you have will mean ripping the whole ting appart (new-used 20-300 bucks)

You are going to need a new or rebuilt transmission. the codes displayed are showing major malfunctions in the transmission they are known to do this on all the jeep models so be prepared to either have it rebuilt or replaced

Replaced transmission seal then on 2 different occasions going down highway at bout 65 to 70 miles hour transmission kept shifting btween overdrive n drive come to a stop n take off didnt do it again...

Computer controlled transmissions can get confused at times, from my personal experience. If the problem doesn't happen again, I would ignore it. If it happens all the time, it's most likely the transmission computer. Other things could be the shift linkage, engine vacuum leak, speed sensor, etc... Hope this helps.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited P0700 diagnostic problem

P0700 means there is a transmission fault code in the transmission controller. Since the transmission controller doesn't have a light attached, it tells the engine controller to turn the light on using this code. You'll have to access the transmission controller to further diagnose the problem.

I have a problem with my gear box i have a jeep grand cherokee

Your transmission apparently is not downshifting properly. From your description, it sounds as though it is in 2nd or 3rd gear, which is why it is slow to accelerate. When you shift into 1st, it is starting off in 1st gear as it should. You probably should have a transmission shop check it out. Check engine light on?

1999 jeep grand cherokee transmission

This is called limp mode chrysler did this to protect the transmission without leaving the owner stranded by the road,a few things will cause this mainly putting the wrong fluid in the transmission, they use only atf+4,or the govenor pressure sensor is acting up which should cause a check engine light to come on,or the transmission just needs a fluid and filter change, should be done every 2yrs or 36k miles, due the fluid and filter change about 40.00 but if you have the wrong fluid then the whole system needs to be flushed and refilled-transmission-torque convertor, radiator and cooler if equipped and all lines.
