Problems with electrical

There are several things wrong with my 2001 focus, the radio will randomly cut on and off, the inside light works about half the time, the left front speaker seems to stop working after about 10 minutes of driving, and the windshield wippers will randomly turn on. if you have any ideas let me know.

Under the glove box is a fuse box, put your hand up behind it and make sure all the plugs going into fuse box are in correctly. had a few with plugs not cottectly installed, and it caused all kinds of strange things.

You may want to look at the neutral safety switch. The shift linkage!!! Weird things that things causes. I had 1997 Taurus would not start because it though it was in gear. When started and running you put in reverse the radio quit working. LOL weird man.Try to push the shift lever up or down one way when turning the key. If it start get a new ns Switch. $37 pretty easy to install.

Have you check the battery and alternator?
It is a surge effect but what is doing it will most likely reveal itself only with a hands on repair.

I would write a check list and then go down the list over a period of time.

Does it do it in park?
Drive?
Reverse?
Neutral ?

Sounds like either a battery Alternator or regulator problem so - take it to an Auto Zone or other place that checks voltage first and see if the battery is really any good.
