SOURCE: 2001 Chrylser LHS. The battery

TO FIND OUT IF THERE IS A BATTERY DRAIN. TURN OFF ALL SWITCHES, MAKE SURE THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT IS CLOSING RIGHT & THE LITTLE LITE IS GOING OUT. OPEN THE HOOD. IF THERE IS AN UNDER HOOD LIGHT, REMOVE THE BULB, OR UNPLUG THE LIGHT.
CLOSE ALL DOORS TIGHT. WAIT 30 SECONDS AFTER CLOSING THE DOORS, LOOK THROUGH THE WINDOWS, ARE THE COURTESY LITES ALL GOING OUT ." THEY MAY BE ON A DELAY TIMER ". DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE FROM THE BATTERY, PUT ONE END OF A 12 VOLT CIRCUIT TESTER ON THE NEG. TERMINAL OF THE BATTERY, PUT THE OTHER END ON A GOOD GROUND. IF THE CIRCUIT TESTER LIGHT COMES ON SOMETHING IS DRAINING. TO FIND THE CIRCUIT THAT IS DRAINING, YOU WILL NEED TO OPEN THE FUSE/RELAY BOX PROBABLY NEAR THE BATTERY. ONE AT A TIME PULL EACH FUSE OUT, UNTIL THE CIRCUIT TESTER LIGHT GOES OUT. WHEN IT GOES OUT READ OWNERS MANUAL TO FIND OUT WHAT IS IN THAT CIRCUIT.

Rear strut install

I have a 1999 Chrysler LHS and have had the rear struts done for me. You have to remove the back seats to get at them. I know its not the total solution, but it should put things in a better perspective for you.

if it's coming from the radiator cap your car is overheating, two things could be wrong
#1 thermostat is stack and is not circulating or

How do you replace the headlight bulb on a 2001 chrysler lhs.

This can be done buy popping the hood and removing the bulb from the rear of the headlight housing. don't screw with the housing because, its leveled for optimal sight range.

I need to know what is the largest battery- in terms of cold cranking amps -that is available for a 2001 LHS.would the optima 850cca be a good choice?there is limited space for the battery to fit

For the highest amperage in the smallest space this is likely to be your best solution as it is a gel core battery unlike your typical battery which is lead/acid and requires more space to create the same amperage.
