Question about 2001 Hyundai Sonata
I bought the car with a wrecked front end. It ran great!! I drove it on and off the trailer and to the spot I am currently working on it. the car ran fine until I took out the radiator, hood, lights and bumper cover. Took all the damaged parts. It would not start. So I replaced them with good parts. Now it still want start nor even get fuel. So where exactly is the emergency turn off switch to the fuel pump or what else could it be if not that?
Only Ford Products have a Fuel Safety Shut Off Switch
No idea why people ask that & everyone should know the
switch is only activated in an accident,in which case there
is no need to reset it
Wouldn't you think maybe you removed a ground wire &
haven't properly resecured it?

Ignition Control module, and crank position sensors, they get hot and fail and after brief cooling period they work again

Here is the wiring info for your radio. I have some other wiring diagrams but did not see anything related to your ac. Hope it helps and let me know if you want the other wiring diagrams. Also once you know what these wires are then you will be able to tell what wires are not related to your radio and might be able to figure out which wires are causing your other problems?

its the camshaft position sensor . Its located (atleast on my 1.6L) to the right of the front HOT plate the conection runs between the engine and the right side fan. easier to work on if you take off the air intake thats by the left front side of the battery. you will be working between the fan and the motor. only one bolt but is tricky so u need a 1/4 inch nuckle with a 1/4 extention. once located and you have the right tools it will only take 30 minutes to replace....dont forget to take off negative battery cable before you start.

Sounds like it might be either the fuel filter or the fuel pump, cause if you ran the tank down, you probably had sludge in the bottom of the tank that you sucked into the engine, you can try using a fuel system cleaner, you may have sucked sludge into the injectors running it, Zmax sells a fuel system cleaner, or there is one called RUN RIGHT, I would try putting some of that in letting it sit a few min then after it sat a few to soak in and break down the sludge, then start the car up, kick your idle up to around 1500 RPM do not go higher then that cause you will damage the engine, try that and see if that works for you, if not then I is probably the fuel pump or filter.

well if she ran it to long with no oil it might be locked up and might be able to turn it over if its not to bad. but you should still get power going to your fuel pump i would check all connection going to fuel pump and no broken wires. try even un plugging battery to see if there's a bypass
