If you know you have low compression on a cylinder,
then you obviously had a shop do some testing,
& I would think they answered your questions & explained
their findings & gave you some repair options

Low compression and I assume you have the reading from a compression check can mean 1 of 3 things---the hydraulic tappets for that cyl are jammed full open so holding the valve open,or there is a broken ring( check by putting some oil --4-6 squirts from an oil can-- and retest compression-- or you have a burnt valve or cracked valve seat. Cheapest is to replace head from wreckers but which ever way you go it will be dollars

Why does my 2002 Pontiac Sunfire shake while in park?

My guess would be that you have either a bad plug, wire, or cylinder. If its running okay once you accelerate a bit, my guess would be that it is most likely the plug or wire. If one cylinder isn't doing its job, you only have 3/4's of your regular performance. Best of luck. Hope this helps.

Can 2002 sunfire slave cylinder leak and make the clutch slip from the fluid. their's no fluid in the resiver and car wont start

If the resivor is empty then when you push on the clutch it isn't disengaging allowing the engine to start. The best way to fix this problem is to install a new slave cylinder fill the resivor with fluid have someone push the clutch down open the bleeder valve to let the air out. close the bleeder valve release the clutch push down the clutch hold it to the floor open the bleeder let the air out close the bleeder and let up on clutch. continue doing this until you have a stream of fluid coming out of the bleeder with no air. after every 2 or 3 times check the resivor and fill as needed and dont run it out of fluid while doing this or you will have to start over. After you get a steady stream of fluid from the slave cylinder bleeder when you push on the clutch you will be able to feel the clutch disingage and be able to start the engine and drive.

2000 sunfire will not start? nothing wrong with plugs, it has compresson. it will roll over . fuel pump is running. the moduel is ok because we have another sunfire and we tryed it on the other car. why...

It sounds like it might be a bad crank sensor. Although I had a sunfire one time I was working on that did this from a bad ignition switch. Check for power on the pink/blk wire at the ignition module plug with the key in the run position and when cranking the engine. Also do you have a security light flashing?
