Better check and see if you broken the timing belt. I think this year model has a timing belt.

I was driving down the interstate and my car lost power. Rpms went down and died.. radio, air and everything else works will not start back but sounds like it is cranking.

Do you have normal compression, fuel pressure, and spark when cranking the engine ? Hopefully the timing belt did not break.

I can go in reverse but not in drive

Takes two people. Block the wheels, climb under the car and check the linkage.

Try this, pull the maf out ,if you look there is a hot wire going across the tube(maybe 2),if it has any white crusty stuff on it ,just use some spray throttle body cleaner to clean it up,even if you can't see it ,try it anyway!
Cleaning the MAF should be a part of every tuneup

TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT, SHOULD IT BE LITE TO BE IN THE OFF POSTION ?

Leave it on all the time. The only times you would turn it off would be, say if you were stuck in snow/sand and were rocking the car back and forth in order to build some momentum.

4 wheel drive engages itself after rain or snow

I had that problem last year. Dodge fixed it for $500.00 it was the "Transfer Case Motor". Rock Auto Online http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php has them for $140.00. 3 bolts, two plugs, 15mins. and your done. Wish I had known it would have saved me $360.00.

My 2000 intrepid was stuck in a snow drift and i tried rocking it out. That didnt work, so later on i had it pulled out and now it will go in forward, but not reverse. Do i need a new transmission or can...

Having it scanned for codes now, may catch something before it's too late. Only other thing I might try is disconnecting battery for a few minutes, then re-attach, and try then.
