buy yourself a couple bottles of gas line antifreeze... it's alcohol (not the kind you drink)... try that and let me know how runs after that.

I have a similiar problem. The difference is that mine doesn't run any better after it warms up. When I went to put my vehicle in reverse I had to push on the accelerator before it would go into gear, and it was the same thing with the vehicle in drive. I went and had the transmission filter changed and it ran fine that day. Then when it got cold that night it started acting the same way. So I took it to a transmission shop. They drove and said that there wasn't a problem with my transmission. They told me that I needed to take it to the Mitsubishi dealership to have it reflashed so I did, and it should be out of the Mitsubishi dealership this Friday, Jan. 2, 2009. I will post on that day to tell you if this fixed it. It only costs $80 to have it reflashed.

check if the fuel pump is working, if you have someone near the tank and someone else crank motor you should be able to hear a bzzzzzz rom the tank from the pump. if no noise is heard then hit or thump the tank, this can make a fuel pump start to work again, if it starts, then the pump is almost dead
