SOURCE: Wont start, new fuel pump

replace fuse and relay.also check oil pressure switch.it controls fuel pump also. check fuel pump wires and fuel injector fuse .if all is good pcm could be faulty it controls fuel pump on .command circuit

Do any of your dash lights come on when you turn the key to run? Oil, battery, service engine soon? You said it turns over then you said it doesn't????? Does the engine crank in the start position?

you have fuel ? check spark . 4200 motors have crank sensor issues

check plug for fuel pump in harness near gas tank for corrosion and it may also have seoerated wire where it comes out of connecter the seperation may be from pulling on wires when pump replaced insulation may look alright because it streaches.

listen for a buzzing sound in the rear when turning the key.
if you cannot than take off the fuel filter and let it hang down. than try turning on the key. fuel should spill out smartly. if not replace the pump.

Did you try to replace the starter cable? is the Truck turning over or just clicking.? If it's turning over and not starting. Best guess would be one of two things. Knock sensors Located under intake manifold. they get wet and deteriorate or the fuel pump. I've replaced all three on mine. 233k still running strong...
