probably. when you turn on the ignition, you should see a bulb check for all warning systems; abs should be one of them. the light is almost always yellow and will say "abs". also, if you look at the brake lines at the master cylinder and they go into a big aluminium block with a big harness connection on it, that's your abs controller.
sounds like possibly one of the sensor connections is disconnected possibly when oil was changed maybe one of the plug ins were knocked off or partailly disconnected, check all plug ins under hood most likely a plug in on the abs unit under the hood,(usually has lines running to the master cylinder) possbly plug in onthe master cylinder also.
most times it is a sensor that is located around the brake area that needs replaced. Changing brakes will not fix abs light..ABS stands for anti brake system and has nothing to do with replacing brakes or rotors. It pervent your brakes from locking up and causing you to loose control of car. hope this helps and good luck and please rate this post....
You have a problem with your master cylinder/Brake Booster or you have lost vacum to the master cylinder. Before doing this repair I highly recommend you get the Haynes Repair manual on your vehicle from the local auto parts store.

if yes you may have problem more then only pads.
when lights on remeber your abs system and traction controls not functioning .will be dangers on wet or ice. you may get profesional help to resolve this problem before cost you more.
