SOURCE: power steering noise

Sounds to me that the power steering belt is loose. If it is a 2.4 litre engine it has two serpentine belts. You should replace the belts especially if it was smoking.

SOURCE: 1994 dodge caravan was making a noise in the area

Could be bad bearings in the belt tensioner pulley, bad bearings in the water pump, bad bearings in the alternator (though that would tend to squeal unless they're really trashed) or bad bearings in the power steering pump.  Get a wrench on each one and see which one won't turn.

SOURCE: the air compressor is bad and the bearings and

Need to determine if the compressor is good by turning the center of the pulley assembly.if that turns then remove the serpintene belt and check the pulley for free operation. It should spin with no restrictions. If the compressor is good ,remove the electric plug for a/c clutch and remove center shaft bolt.taping on the side of the compressor clutch shoe , The shoe should come off. May require a screwdriver to carefully pry off. Once the shoe is removed there is a large snap ring inside the pulley bearing that needs to be removed. After that is done ,the clutch magnet should also come off ,and that will be the a/c compressor that is left. The a/c clutch , clutch shoe ,and pulley/ bearing are sold seprate. Let me know if that helps

I would need to hear the noise to give you any idea of what is causing it. Have a local dealer or trusted shop go for a ride with you, in may cases this is not charged for.

Drive a 2003 mazda6 v6. I leave in Michigan. Early today when i started my car and d it was some squeeling, sounds from the engine sounded like the belts were skwiking, but a short drive the squeeling

Didn't get all of your story, but if the squealing noise stopped after a mile or two, the belt may have warmed up and started grabbing the pulleys. The alternator would have lowered its load on the belt too.
The belt could be glazed and-or slipping.

suspected clutch throw out bearing

pressing on the clutch pedal loads up the bearing and the noise stops but removing the foot from the peddle allows the the pressure plate fingers to spin a loose bearing race ans so makes the noise

Has anyone thought it might be the clutch release bearing? This is of course inside the bell housing, between the engine and transmission.
For a long time before the bearing goes completely out and need replacing, it could start squealing like that. It is a sealed bearing, but when old the internal grease may dissipate, and cause squealing.

Squeeling noise, very rough idle (sometimes stalling), no engine code

Rough idle / stall at idle Check for vacume leaks & split intake tube or loose clamps on intake. Noise put spot of grease on drive belts if noise goes you may need new belts or a tighten up.

Noise when I turn steering wheel moving or stopped.

Hi, If the noise soulds like a squeeling sould then it could be the result of low power steering fliuid or even a worn out (glossy surfaced) serpentine belt.

Please remember to rate my solution. Good Luck!

I have a 2000 Cavalier, it started squeeling a little when stopping (but stops fine). The squeel got worse and now does it when i drive, and when i stop it makes a grinding noise buit still stops fine? Any...

YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE BRAKES...ASAP
The sqeal was the brakes warning you that they were getting low, when they were sqeeling all the time, they were telling you they were about gone. Now that they are grinding, you will most likely need rotors as well. Get them replaced asap !

When the car starts moving there is a loud squeeling noise out of the front driver side of the car then when we stop moving the noise stops

Could be a loose or worn serpentine belt check to make sure it is in good shape. also take a look under the hood and make sure all the pulleys are moving freely when the engine is running.
