The heat gauge is just a thermometer. It is either burned out, not getting power or it is disconnected somewhere.

The head lights and the fog lights have seperate fuses in the fuse panel under the dash. If the fuse is blown, you might possibly have a short. Hope this helps.

first make sure your coolant is full. if it is then you could have temperature switch or sensor bad,not the temperature sensor for the motor though(not the one for your temperature gauge in other words).

for rear defroster grid lines, there are tiny gaps or cuts in the grid lines. get repair kit and paint over gaps. use masking tape so lines aren't too thick. kit @ $10. you can do this.

Your heater core more than likely needs to be replaced unfortunately. If the engine is heating properly and there are no freeze plugs that have been popped then that is your most likely problem.

Poor acceleration 1996 ford windstar gl.

Hi

This sounds decidedly like a faulty or dirty MAF sensor, which is located right next to the air filter box.

Unplug the wiring plug to the MAF and if all or most of the power is restored then you either need to clean or renew the MAF sensor.
