2001 galant won't start after getting hit in the rear
I have a 2001 Galant 3.0L that was hit in the rear and now the fuel pump won't come on. the fuses and relays show to all be good but its just not getting power to the pump. It will start with starting fluid sprayed in the intake...just not getting fuel. can anyone give some advice or tell me where the crash shutoff switch is for the fuel system?

The fuel return line fitting at the fuel pump may be restricted, causing excessive fuel pressure in the fuel injection system.
best thing to do is check for fuel and spark.your vechicle type has fuel filter in gas tank.remove fuel pump by removing rear seat cushion by pulling the seat stopprr near the floor and lift the cushion up.remove the pump inspection cover on the right side of the vechicle.then remove pump harness connector and fuel lines then remove fuel pump with fuel filter.
pump could be in a crooked binding kinking fuel pump sock restricting fuel flow or your fuel pump electrical harness disconnected or has poor connection not seat all the way in pump electrical terminal socket.
