Question about Buick Regal
CHECKED VACCUM LINES ALL LOOK GOOD NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS R ON ?????
Good guess if it's not vacuum, it may be the intake manifold gasket allowing too much air into system. Easy teats to check is to spray some engine cleaner, or brake cleaner [ WD40 works too ] directly where the intake manifold bolts on. Making sure you are spraying the gasket. If gasket is bad, you will hear the idle go down or up. Any change at all tells the tale. . Be sure not to spray the exhaust manifold, just the intake manifold. This is the best test to perform Saves time and money. Let me know how you make out. PS Also spray vacuum hoses with the cleaner. Listen to motor at the same time
let me know how you do

Your issue is a bad "speed sensor". Your speedometer is controlled by a sensor in your transmission, and when it quits working your speedometer will not work, it can cause very irregular shift patterns and slipping. Replacing your speed sensor should resolve your issues.
I hope this helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.
