2012 Chrysler 200 Pulsating Brakes

I just purchased a 2012 Chrysler 200. I noticed there was excessive vibration in the front end and steering column when braking, so the dealer replaced the front rotors and pads and performed a front end alignment. I still feel the brakes pulsate, but only when I apply braking going down a hill. It feels like the ABS system is engaging slightly. What other repairs can I consider asking for?

SOURCE: PULSATION WHEN APPLY BRAKES

Even though you replaced the rotors, seems that you will still need to have them resurfaced. This assuming you are experiencing pulsation only when braking.

The pulsating can be one of 2 problems, they feel very different, unfortunately, I can not feel what you feel, so here goes. One problem could be with your abs system, possibly diagnosed with an OBD II reader, the other could be warped rotors, but not likely since you replaced. Good Luck! How do you fix a Shakey steering wheel when you apply your brakes?

If this only happens when you apply the brakes, my guess would be your brake rotors. Your front rotors are probably out of round and you need to have them turned downed or replaced, I would replace the brake pads at the same time.

vibrations could be from failing cv joints and worn bushes in the drive shaft ends of the transmission. The bumps in the steering could be coming from worn bushes at the end of the rack and worn Ball joint ends of the steering

Binding on front brakes

CAR BRAKE PROBLEMS

It can be issue with master cylinder or the problem is there is still some air there in the system that has to be bleed. Or else the parts replaced are not aligned properly/.I suggest everything back.

It can be issue with master cylinder or the problem is there is still some air there in the system,that has to be bleed.Or else the parts replaced are not aligned properly/.I suggest everything back.
