Question about 1998 Mazda Millenia

All lights and accessories work fine-engine not cranking

I put my 94 Mazda Precidia 1.8 ltr V6 in my garage for winter. While there I cleaned and degreased the engine and various components. This was done very carefully by hand. While doing this I did ground out the battery terminals with a ratchet. Now the engine will not crank. With the key on all lights and accessories are working. There is a clicking noise when i turn the key and the lights dim as well. The main fuse looks good. Tried a new battery but still will not crank. It was running and starting fine before putting it in the garage.

You will need to Replace the Starter and Solinoid and Possibly the Crank Sensor.

Mazda 323 timing marks

well, I hate to tell you, but they never made such a beast. 1994 Mazda 323 , with a 2.0 lt engine, and also no v6 was ever installed in a 323, now if you have the original engine that will be a 4 cylinder 1.6 liter timing mark on the crank and cam is at 12 o'clok., the cam says up, and you line up the mark at 3 o'clock, to the block, i hope you changed the water pump, coolant and rolers ?

you need to have the engine coolant switch checked, since the computer relies solely on sensors, the ect tells the computer how cold or hot it is so the computer will make it a rich or lean mixture to start the engine,if it tells the computer that it is 75 degrees the computer will lean the mixture like starting a car in the winter without a choke.

Engine compatibility for a 1996 maxda Mx-3 precidia

If you have a 4 cyl motor, that any 4cyl will fit from an MX-3 (and a few other vehicles actually).

If you have a V6, then you can use any other MX-3 1.8L OR MX-6 OR Ford Probe OR Millenia 2.5L V6 motor (160hp)! You can import the KLZE (200hp) from japan for around $1300 and it will also fit (2.5L V6).
