I have a 2004 Avalon, all of the speakers (except the subwoofer) work, I noticed there is no bass and then found out the subwoofer makes no sound, does anyone know what might be the problem?

The fuse might be built into the cable to the lighterand/or radio. It's called "fusable link", this type of fuse looks like a cable. Or another type of fusable link might be in the fuse box under the hood near the firewall.

2004 GMC Envoy Radio high pitched noise when off and static


In my opinion, it's almost certainly the radio. Even when turned off, it is still alive managing a few other things (like chimes) until you exit the vehicle, and I suspect that part of the radio is faulty.

On my 2003 Avalanche, after the radio has been on for a few minutes static starts in the front right speaker then travels to all of them. As the static gets louder the radio volume goes down and the static...


take out the speaker in question and test it.
a 9v battery is good enough to 'burp' it.
if it makes a scratchy noise when you put power to it then you have a short in the voice coil.
Burping a speaker is just a short power up. Don't hold power to it.
Tap it on and off like a music note measure.

Rear end rattle on my 1998 avalon and now starting on my 2004 avalon the 98 has 150,000 mi the 2004 has 70,000


I found that the rear sway bar bushings go bad and start making noise and they are not that expensive, it's the bushings that hold the bar to the frame
