Disconnect negative terminal on the Battery, with Key on ignition ON engine not running and radio ON, after two minutes or more connect it back, do not panic if sparks come wile connecting it back, make sure is clean and ***, go to Your ignition key and turn it of, then start the car and see if problem remains, you have a bad sensor or a an ABS problem

Abs lights on have scanned for codes. The dinging sound is because you have a malfunction in the system. It lets you know that there is a problem

'02 pontiac aztek and the break light on the dash is on and the warning dinging noise wont stop

This light also indicates other brake system problems. You can also have a park brake switch that is stuck on or damaged in some wayy, check that first.

My 95 Ford Windstar has just developed a rather distressing problem. In the morning, I get in my van and everything is fine. A few hours later, when I get in my van and start it, there is a warning bell...

one of the door ajar switches are sticking. needs to be put on the computer to find out which one. only other way is to go around and unplug the switches until your light shuts off.

The brake light on the dash came on with dinging sound in the car but the break fluid is full

there will be a plastic switch with a seal mounted to the master cylinder. They are inexpensive at any GM parts department. The switch is bad causing the light to stay on creating the dinging sound

Annoying alarm dinging until van reaches 17mph

This means one of the door ajar sensors is stuck. You need to remove the door trim panel and then the latch and then the sensor. Once out clean and lube it. There is a sensor inside every door.

Van will not start.

Sounds like it's time for a new starter. Before you go and buy a new one, check the connection to your starter for corrosion. Good luck

I took it to the Ford dealership. Don't ever let a shade tree mechanic work on your electrical. It turns out, someone wired the alarm totally wrong. Which shorted out my headlight switch.
