Question about 1998 Saturn SL
Its starts fine the frist time i start it for the day. but after i turn it off its like its flooding its self out when its off and its takes forever to get it to start back up. i have to hold the gas petal to the floor to get it started back and you can smell gas and see white smoke when it does finally start back up. can someone please help me find the cause of this problem?

You've actually diagnosed your own problem. It essentially is flooded and that is because your Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS) is bad and telling the PCM that the engine is -40F (40 degrees below zero).
Replace the stock plastic one which cracks with a new brass one found at Autozone or the like. It's a 10 minute job and requires a 13MM deep well socket.

Have you tried replacing the O2 sensor and having your fuel injectors cleaned and checked? It sounds like it could be a fuel problem / emissionsproblem.
