The Drive Shaft?! If it is the Drive Shaft it is an Easy Fix. You will need to Remove the Drive Shaft and Replace the Seal that is at the Very Rear of the Tranny. Check the Tranny Fluid. Tranny fluid should be your Leak. The Fluid is Red Right?

What are the hoses that come out of the radiator on a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country

If they are small metal hoses and they are leaking oil, then they are eather engine oil cooling lines or automatic transmission oil cooling lines. If they are larger rubber hoses and are leaking green or red fluid, then they are antifreeze/coolant hoses.

Rear Main Oil Seal leak 2008 GMC Canyon

I think this is for an oil level sensor. Should be easy to change , or a shop can do it for a nominal charge. The dealerships will want more.

My son has been doing something called doughnuts?in his car .so has split the main feeder pipe .i have changed that .but now there is fluid dripping from somewhere behind the engine could this be something...

dougnuts are never a good thing. the front seal on transmission could be leaking,if so the fluid will be red.it will drip down between the engine and transmission. if so, the transmission will need to come out fo r a replacement of front transmission seal. if it's clear fluid,it may be a bad steering rack. if it's black oil, it could be a bad rear main engine seal. if bad rear main seal, that transmission will need to come out for replacement of rear main engine seal.a abd rear main engine seal will also leak down between the engine and transmission and be black oil. check for color of the fluid leaking to give you a starting point to diagnose what to look for. thank you for choosing fixya.com

Removing selector from c4 transmission

You have to drop the pan and inside is a bolt and roll pin that hold the selector rod in. You have to remove it and the rod will slide right out so you can replace the seal.

What is the car part that is at the bottom of a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Its at the bottom of the truck and right behind the front wheels. I thinking it might be the transmission but I am not sure....

sounds like the transmission pan or the engine sump pan, the pipes are oil cooler connections. If a bolt is missing it may leak, if the leak is red its trans fluid, brown or black its oil from the engine.

2000 Neon with small amount of oil leaking when parked. No oil leaking when put up on rack. Drives car around town seems fine, Drive car for a longer trip and no oil shows up on dipstick. Oil is added and...

When u run your car for a long of time make sure the oil drops down to the oil pan with engine off for about 10 minutes then check oil. If you stop and then immediately u check the oil, oil level will show low, because some oil is at the cylinder head. I think the oil seals for the crankshaft are worn, their one infront of the engine and one behind, where the motor is connected to the transmission. When the head gasket is not good you see oil in the the coolant or coolant in oil and white smoke comes out and car doesn't have enough power, because there is not good compression

Leaks small amount of coolant, but I don't see

Check the engine oil, see if the level is going up and what the condition is. you can take the oil cap off and inspect under it. if there is a milky fluid then the antifreeze is leaking in to your engine crank case which is bad for the engine bearing. The other thing to also check is the transmission fluid. make sure that its till bright red and not over filled to make sure it's not leaking in to your transmission through the transmission cooler which is apart of the radiator too. Good luck and keep me posted. Be glad to help.

Oil leak on top of engine behind turbo

MY 2001 7.3 was leaking the same way. The dealer said the o'rings under the pedestal were leaking. I had the dealer replace the o'rings. By the time I got home, it was leaking again. Called the service department and told the manager, and they put on a new pedestal and o'rings. They only charged me half price for the pedestal and no labor. That did stop the leaks.
